lots of questions being answered this year. Im stoked first we answered the (what will we do when marty retires crap) now we are checking off the bankrupt crap and moving to another city. It wont stop the people from hating though because they love hating the Devils!

Not really, you need to take a look at the "entire package".
They are buying the NJ Devils and also the Prucential Center, the Pru Center was #8 in overall revenue arenas including shows and concerts.

The idea of these new state of the art arenas are to attract more events, other than sporting events, and capture greater revenues. These would off set any losses the team incurrs if it does not break even or make the playoffs.

Im pretty sure RMDevil has went over this and from what he has said that isnt true at all so I dont know where you are getting that from? They have an arena to pay off but all that crap you see on memes about empty arenas and what not is far from the truth.

I never got the hate for the Devils to me I always thought they where a good team but a nuetral one in the eyes of other fans it wasnt till i started coming here that i began seeing the hate for the Devils. I dont get what there is to hate about them or why I mean I have my teams I dont really like but I never thought the Devils would be one hated by so many

Don't disagree with Leaf fans... they know exactly how every franchise is doing financially.

I hear you. I didnt really "get it" till I moved to Southern New Jersey in Flyer/Philly country did I get it.

Uncle Lou has set a good and respectable culture, which most Devils fans appreciate.
Others just hate to see the winners, when they do not have much to cheer about.

The Rangers are our rivals, the Flyers also especially since we have been a thorn on them for years.
But years ago the Devils were always the "underdog", now they are a perennial threat. Thats what makes a good and consistent franchise - thats what makes people hate the Devils.

Yea its weird I mean outside of a few guys they had I cant see them having players that other teams hate like Marty both scottys and others that are guys anyone could be a fan. They have decent Jerseys and they usually win why wouldnt they have more bandwagon fans or have they all jumped off now haha
